This is not looking good. I don’t much care about tonight (we could use the rainout credits), but I do care VERY VERY MUCH about tomorrow.
And moving Santana to start the next day will not help me. I have a family event on Sunday.
If I miss Johan Santana’s first start at Shea because I was trying to be a good sister, I will not be happy.

Lol, I totally know how you feel MG. We have the Sunday plan this year for the first time, and when my dad bought it, he failed to see that the only Subway Series game we’d get tix to with the plan is the same day as my sister’s high school graduation! Lol, I can’t lie, I was really bummed when I found out I was gonna miss the game! We joked with my sister saying we’ll put some cardboard cutouts of DW I have with my and my dad’s faces on them and sit them in the high school stands, so we’d be there in spirit haha. She didn’t think it was very funny though.
I have tix for Sunday, but either way, if I see Johan or Ollie, I’m just excited to go back to Shea after a loong winter :).
If it does happen tomorrow I’m going to miss it to drive to D.C. to see my brother’s show. And I probably won’t ever let him forget it.
You’re so not a horrible person (IMHO)—we fans have been waiting a long time for something like Johan’s first start at Shea… I hope for your sake that they get the game in tomorrow… I did see that a glimmer of sun might try to make it through by the afternoon… fingers crossed!
I’ll be there tonight (until it gets postponed) and tomorrow, and then I got the $2 tix for Sunday just in case there’s a rainout tomorrow. I really only want to go tomorrow because I’m still tired from last night….
Wouldn’t it be nice if the whole damn weekend was as nice as yesterday was?!
