RANDOM TRADING DEADLINE THOUGHTS I CAN’T GET OUT OF MY HEAD.
I wouldn’t be so upset about Teixiera if 1) he hadn’t gone to the BRAVES and 2) we could have been in the market for a first baseman and 3) Carlos Delgado, where are you? It’s AUGUST.

Our (Twins) loss is your gain. Castillo plays hard and plays even harder when his team is in contention. This was a trade that worked for the Mets. No, he won’t hit homeruns, but he will find ways to get on base. And defensively…the man can be an acrobat. I will miss seeing him play. I guess the Mets will have to be my NL team! C’mon Mets take the NL title!!!
Well, he seems happy to be here and he’s already making noises about wanting to stay. If that’s true, then maybe he’ll be even more motivated.
