PHOTOPOST: SHEA GOODBYE

upperbowl_928

Today I’m posting some favorites from Sunday.

I am lucky to have been there and lucky to have a good camera that I am reasonably skilled at using and feel the need to share. I have changed my license in Flickr so that every photo in this post is available for download for your personal, non-commercial use. (If you’d like to use something on your blog, please just drop a note and ask first.)

(I didn’t crop this one because you miss out on too much if I did. Be sure to look at all the details. TBF’s comment was, “I can’t believe you got the ball in the air.” What I didn’t explain to him yet was that I did that perfectly consciously. I was torn between getting the shot and watching the moment, so as soon as he threw the ball, I clicked and then put the camera down so I could watch. Somehow it worked.)

Great pictures. I especially like the ‘last pitch’ pix…I can see Keith (second Met from the left on the 1st base side) getting a good shot! Heehee.
