After Beltran’s home run, TBF got up, went over to the kitchen, and came back carrying the broom. Earlier in the evening he was threatening to start cleaning up the entrance hallway, and I thought he was expressing that he’d seen enough of the game and was ready to start domestic activities.
And then I got it.

I hope that the same levels of success happen for both teams.
The Cards had no reason even being in the World Series last year due to the idiotic playoff system which means the best teams in each league don’t play each other to cap off the season.
Nothing like a sweep to rub it in the faces of the team that should’t have won and had to rub it in with ceremony during the series.
