As if you thought I’d forget who’s coming to visit next week. This week’s Friday Photo is dedicated to Mr. Cornelius Cliff Floyd, who we dearly miss in left field. Call it sentimental, call it irrational, point at his injury record - but I never worried about that corner of the field when #30 was on duty. Welcome back, Cliff!
He is missed because of his heart and determination. He only had the one solid offensive season. Moises Alou is the same injury risk but has a better track record in the clutch. I’ll welcome back Mr. Floyd but I am happy with our current outfield of Alou, Beltran, and Green
I definitely miss that guy.
I agree that Moises has better production offensively, but he’s the slowest man alive on the field. He does not have Cliff’s hustle.
He is missed by many! Cliff was an amazing player and also amazing guy! Does anyone remember how Cliff was our MVP for a year until D WRIGHT became the man? Well we should all stand and cheer for this man! Cliff Floyd we miss ya man!

Not only is he missed in left field and at bat, but his missed in the clubhouse as well. He was definatly the heart of the Mets.
